A Magyar Rádió Gyermekkórusa
A Bartók-Pásztory díjas, Grammy díjra is jelölt kórus 1954-ben alakult Botka Valéria és Csányi László vezetésével. 1995 óta Thész Gabriella az együttes művészeti vezetője. A kórus repertoárja a gregorián zenétől a reneszánsz vokális polifónián át a kortárs zeneművekig terjed. Bartók és Kodály kórusműveinek rendszeres előadása mellett nagy figyelmet fordítanak a mai szerzők műveinek bemutatására.
A Gyermekkórus minden évben számos koncertet ad, rendszeres résztvevői hazai és európai zenei fesztiváloknak és más zenei eseményeknek. Magyarországon rendszeres résztvevői a Budapesti Őszi és Tavaszi Fesztiválnak. Az együttes számos rádió és televíziós felvételt készített itthon és külföldön. Európa csaknem minden országában adtak hangversenyt, turnéztak számos alkalommal az Amerikai Egyesült Államokban és Japánban, utaztak Dél-Koreában és Taiwanon. Olyan jeles muzsikusokkal dolgoztak együtt, mint Luciano Berio, Semyon Bychkov, Myung-Wung Chung, Dennis Russell Davies, Peter Maxwell Davies, Eötvös Péter, Fischer Ádám, Fischer Iván, Philip Glass, Kobayashi Kenichiro, Kocsis Zoltán, Peskó Zoltán, Paul Sacher, Schiff András, George Solti, Karlheinz Stockhausen és Geoffrey Tate.

The Hungarian Radio Children's Choir was founded in 1954 by Valéria Botka and László Csányi. Since 1995 the music director of the ensemble has been choir master Gabriella Thész, winner of the Liszt Prize and recipient of the Artistic Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary.
The Children's Choir won the 2010 Prima Prize as well as the 2005 Bartók-Pásztory Prize, and it was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1999.
Because of its affiliation to world-famous Hungarian music education methods, the choir plays a special role in Hungarian and international music life.
The repertoire of the choir is extensive while it is built upon the choir’s fundamental role in transmitting the traditions of Bartók and Kodály. The choir pays special attention to performing the works of contemporary composers, and has performed a number of premières both in Hungary and abroad.
The choir gives many concerts annually and is a frequent participant in music festivals and other events throughout Europe. In addition to having performed in almost every European country, the choir has toured the United States and Japan several times, and it has also sung in South Korea and Taiwan. The choir has worked with a number of prominent musicians, including Luciano Berio, Semyon Bychkov, Myung-Wung Chung, Dennis Russell Davies, Peter Maxwell Davies, Péter Eötvös, Ádám Fischer, Iván Fischer, Philip Glass, Kobayashi Kenichiro, Zoltán Kocsis, Zoltán Peskó, Paul Sacher, András Schiff, George Solti, Karlheinz Stockhausen and Geoffrey Tate.
